Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your relationship with the OT Logbook service. By creating an account or otherwise using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Parties

OT Logbook is owned and operated by Devoue Health and Education Foundation (the “Foundation”), a non-profit organisation registered in India. The platform is built, hosted, and maintained by Cureline Healthcare Pvt Ltd (the “Technology Provider”) on behalf of the Foundation. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the Foundation acting through the Technology Provider as appropriate.

2. Eligibility

OT Logbook is intended for occupational therapy trainees registered with a recognised institution in India, their nominated supervisors, and authorised administrators of the Foundation. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate identity and college details to use the platform.

3. Account approval

New trainee accounts are reviewed and approved by the Foundation's administrators after verification of your college ID. We reserve the right to decline or revoke approval where information cannot be verified or appears inaccurate.

4. Free of cost

Use of OT Logbook is free of cost for trainees, supervisors, and colleges. We will never ask trainees to pay any fee for the use of this platform. If anyone solicits payment in our name, please report it via our contact form.

5. Acceptable use

• You will record clinical activities truthfully and to the best of your ability.
• You will not impersonate another trainee, supervisor, or administrator.
• You will not falsify supervisor verifications, evaluations, or reports.
• You will respect patient privacy, using anonymised identifiers wherever possible.
• You will not use the platform for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain falsified information, or otherwise threaten the integrity of the training records on the platform. We will, where reasonable, notify you of the reason and give you a chance to respond.

7. Intellectual property

All software, design, brand, and platform features of OT Logbook are the intellectual property of Cureline Healthcare Pvt Ltd, licensed to the Foundation for the operation of this initiative. The clinical training data you submit (your logs, reflections, patient entries, and reports) remains yours; you grant the Foundation and the Technology Provider a limited licence to host, process, and display this data solely to provide the service to you.

8. Disclaimers

OT Logbook is a training-record tool. It is not a medical record system, not a substitute for institutional patient records, and must not be used to make patient-care decisions. The platform is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither the Foundation nor the Technology Provider shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform. Because the service is provided free of cost, the total aggregate liability of the Foundation and the Technology Provider to any user is limited to INR 1,000.

10. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update the platform and these Terms from time to time. Where changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
